Join Us in Transforming Community Health: An Invitation to Support Our Mission
For nearly 30 years, the Kenosha Community Health Center (KCHC), along with its newest division, Pillar Health, has been dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to residents of Southeastern Wisconsin. As a nonprofit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we have thrived through the support of community partnerships and grants. Our mission has always been to deliver affordable primary medical, dental, and behavioral health services while addressing social barriers to health, including access to affordable medications.
Now, we’re inviting you—our community—to join us in taking the next step toward a healthier future.
Since 1995, we’ve built a foundation of care that annually serves over 17,000 individuals from Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth Counties through our four Kenosha County locations and school-based services. With a focus on sustainability, we’ve strategically utilized grants to drive impactful growth. Examples include the development of the Pillar Health model of integrated care and its new Washington Road location, the expansion of comprehensive mental health services, and the provision of critical outreach programs.
From dental sealants and lead screening for children to affordable prescriptions and health education, we’ve consistently delivered care that changes lives.
But there’s still so much more to do.
Why We Need Your Support
The 300,000+ residents of Southeastern Wisconsin and their local communities face significant healthcare challenges, from underserved areas to a growing demand for specialized services. To meet these needs, we need your help to thrive and grow. Your support will help us:
- Expand Pediatric Dental Care: Provide specialized care, including treatments for children experiencing painful and debilitating oral health issues.
- Launch Optometry Services: Increase access to essential vision care for children and families.
- Reach New Communities: In 2025, we will extend FQHC services into Racine, operating out of clinic space at Julian Thomas Elementary School. Pillar Health of Racine will bring critical services to school children and families while creating accessible, integrated care options for the broader community.
These expansions are essential to addressing healthcare disparities and meeting the needs of the patients and families in the neighborhoods we serve. Together, we can make a difference.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
As a nonprofit, we’ve demonstrated that sustainable healthcare is achievable. Every dollar is maximized to deliver cost-effective care, ensuring that we’re not only meeting today’s needs but also building a framework for lasting impact. Now, we’re inviting you to partner with us in bringing this sustainable model to even more communities.
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Health centers thrive with the support of their communities. Together, we can ensure that every individual, regardless of income or circumstances, has access to the care they deserve. Supporting Pillar Health means investing in a healthier future for Southeastern Wisconsin.
