About

What made you choose a healthcare career?
My role as Case Manager allows me to apply years of experience and education in a professional capacity and contribute to improving a patient’s well-being by helping to enhance and sustain their economic and social development. I have a passion to help others when they are in need, assisting them to address their barriers to improving their quality of life.

How does the work you do at KCHC make a difference in the lives of patients and our community?
My work connects patients with social services outside the healthcare but equally important as drivers of good health. I am an advocate for food and housing assistance, legal matters, and job skills training, which are important to achieving self-sufficiency. I am an expert in connecting patients with resources or services tailored to their needs. I build relationships with local support agencies through cold calls, attending community resource fairs and by personally visiting the organization.
