About

What made you choose a career in healthcare?
I chose Clinical Social Work to provide therapeutic services to individuals. My initial focus being on adolescent therapeutic services eventually brought me to Primary Care Behavioral Health which allowed me to provide integrative behavioral health care to individuals allowing for seamless transition from various services and a greater level of care. Having worked in the health care field for over 15 years I have gained a valuable understanding regarding the needs individuals face when dealing with co-occurring health and mental concerns. Being a lifelong resident of Kenosha I felt it only natural to provide services to those in need in my community.

How does the work you do at KCHC make a difference in the lives of patients and our community?
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked extensively with young adults as well as adolescents in the LGBTQ community. I utilize an integrative perspective to therapy involves a multimodal approach that includes a range of therapeutic techniques to assist you in meeting your personal goals. I prefer an informal approach as Ilike to make therapy meaningful, fun, and rewarding. Most importantly, the client will look forward to each session and leave with tools to handle life’s challenges independently. I look forward to collaborating with clients on their journey towards a happier, healthier self.
