Program Director of Integrated and Value-Based Care

At Pillar Health, we believe in fostering leadership that drives innovation and meaningful change. That’s why we’re thrilled to spotlight Katie Woeste, who transitioned from a valued board member to an integral team member in October 2024. With her wealth of experience and passion for patient-centered care, Katie is set to make a lasting impact on the Kenosha community.

Woeste holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Systems Leadership and Innovation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her advanced education, combined with her extensive experience, positions her to lead impactful initiatives that will enhance Pillar Health’s integrated care model and drive advancements in value-based healthcare.

Woeste’s journey into healthcare wasn’t a lifelong dream, but rather a serendipitous choice that led to an incredible career. As a young mom, she sought a career that would provide stability and flexibility. Nursing fit the bill—and it turned into a lifelong passion. “Little did I know then, but I absolutely loved the work, the patients, the teams, and the environments I worked in as a nurse,” Woeste shared. This passion inspired her to further her education, earning a Doctorate of Nursing Practice to make an even greater impact.

Woeste’s role as Program Director focuses on advancing Integrated and Value-Based Care models at Pillar Health. Her dedication to finding “even better” ways to care for patients is evident in her leadership style and her ability to guide teams toward continuous improvement.

Woeste explains, “Utilizing my skills and passions will help me work with the Pillar team to continuously improve our Integrated Care Model across Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health services. I’m also excited to take new steps in the movement toward Value-Based Care, which will enhance the level of quality care for every patient. The work we do will be meaningful and impactful to the health of the Kenosha Community.”

Woeste’s transition from a board member to a full-time team member demonstrates her unwavering commitment to the mission of Pillar Health. Her leadership is already paving the way for innovative care solutions that will positively impact patients and the community for years to come.

Join us in celebrating Katie Woeste and her incredible contributions to Pillar Health as we work together to build a healthier Kenosha community!
