This holiday season, Kenosha Community Health Center and Pillar Health, are excited to launch the “A Pathway to Clearer Sight” campaign.
It’s more than just a campaign; it’s a commitment to our community’s future, focusing on improving the vision of students in Kenosha, Racine and Walworth counties.
In 2023, we reached a milestone by providing over 40,000 medical encounters to 14,000 patients, thanks to our expanded and diversified team. Our dedicated efforts have significantly enhanced our service capabilities in Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties. To sustain and grow this impact, we’re turning to you for support.
VISION FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE:
Vision Challenges Among Students:
A considerable number of students in our counties struggle with vision problems, severely affecting their learning and life experiences. Currently, only 24% of students who need glasses receive them, underlining the urgent need for accessible vision care.
Launching the Pillar Kids Optometry Program:
Our aim is to raise $250,000 to initiate the Pillar Kids Optometry Program. This ambitious project is set to offer professional eye exams, affordable vision correction solutions, and essential eye health education, especially targeting families facing accessibility barriers.
