By JILL TATGE-ROZELL, Kenosha News [email protected] learning about the services offered at the new Kenosha Community Health Center, 903. S. Second St., at its grand opening in Silver Lake Monday, Bridgette Bunch, of Wheatland, said she will definitely be making an appointment.

“We are looking for a pediatric dentist,” said Bunch, who brought her son Wyatt, 5, to the open house and barbecue. “There is not a lot around here. I’m calling first thing in the morning.” Bunch said it will be nice to have a medical, dental and mental health clinic so close to home. “I’m so glad they moved out here,” Bunch said. “It’s needed, especially for the elderly and the low-income families.”

Patricia Kough, who lives across the street and has three children ranging in age from 2 to 10 years old, agreed. “I was taking them all the way to downtown Kenosha,” Kough said. “It was such a hassle — a long car ride, followed by a waiting room.”
